Do I need An All-terrain Stroller?

The short answer is no.  You do not necessarily need an all terrain stroller.  Most parents do fine with strollers that are used on pavements or sidewalks.  All terrain strollers are more used for jogging or if you like to go for walks on uneven surfaces.  If you like to go hiking or walking and such, then you should definitely get one but if this is not the case, you do not need one.

What Is The Best Stroller For Gravel Roads?

The best all terrain stroller is the BOB 2016 Revolution Flex.  Although it has three wheels, it still provides stability.  The front wheel moves and so this allows you to move different directions more easily.  It can lock into place as well.  This all terrain stroller also has suspension which absorbs the bumpy ride on gravel roads.  Plus with the all-terrain tires, this makes it easier to push the all-terrain stroller around.

Is The UPPAbaby Vista All Terrain?

Although the UPPAbaby stroller is a higher end stroller and has great perks, it is not all terrain.  This stroller is meant more for walking and for flat, hard surfaces like the mall or a paved pathway at a park.  The wheels are not meant to go on different types of surfaces so the stroller will make it harder for you to push if you decide to take this stroller on gravel or sand.

Are 3 Wheel Or 4 Wheel Strollers Better?

Most jogging strollers will be 3 wheeled and not 4 wheeled.  This is due to the front wheel locking into place while jogging to add more balance.  Most 4 wheel strollers are not suited for “all terrains” and are better for flat hard surfaces.  The three wheels can be a down fall though because if you are turning and weaving down trails and such, it is harder to turn the stroller.

There are 3 wheeled all terrain strollers that allow you to lock in place or leave the front wheel free.  This helps with the turning situation but also if you need it to lock into place, you can.  These may be a little more expensive, but it is worth it.

Can Jogging Strollers Go On The Beach?

Any time you take anything that has wheels on the beach, it may be hard to pull or push.  If the sand is loose, it will be difficult to maneuver in it.  Jogging strollers can go on the beach.  Their wheels are better suited for different terrains, but this doesn’t mean travelling on sand will be easy.  You made to put in a little more effort, especially in soft sand.  It is still the better choice than a regular 4 wheeled stroller.

What Is The Best Stroller For Walking?

If you are simply walking on a flat, hard surface, going with the traditional 4 wheeled stroller is best.  I suggest getting one with a canvas because it will provide shade to your little one.  It can get hot for them in the sun.  It is much better than applying sun screen every so often.  4 wheeled strollers provide easier turning radius and is easier to control.  This is best for a simple stroll during the evening or morning or if you are going to a park with a paved pathway.

Are Expensive Strollers Worth It?

Not all strollers that are more expensive are worth it.  Now sometimes an expensive stroller may have perks that a less expensive one has more cup holders or a better canvas to cast shade on your child.  There are strollers that have handles that adjust to different heights or wheels that lock in place or don’t.  It really depends on what you want and what you are willing to pay for it.

How Do I Choose A Travel System Stroller?

Buy a travel system stroller that is more convenient for you.  Which stroller provides all the things you need in a stroller and what you want?  Each stroller has specific perks that will help you.  For convenience, buy a stroller that takes less room when you fold it down.  Some moms like the strollers that you can set the car seat in.  This is nice but a little pricier.

What Strollers Do Celebrities Use?

Celebrities use many different types of products just like any other parent but more often than not, they use expensive name brand strollers.  After a quick search, the most common brands that seemed to pop up were Nuna, MacLaren, and Bugaboo.  All of these strollers are 4 wheeled and are not an all terrain stroller.  These strollers are just meant for transportation and walking on simple surfaces.

There are so many strollers out there, you will have to do a little research before buying the best one for you.  Find the ones with options that you need or want and go from there.  The biggest thing to look for is the safety rating. You can never be too safe when getting something for your baby.
